Chevrolet 2500 Work Truck Full Mobile Detailing on Vancouver Island

A client contacted us to detail a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 single cab, long box, 2WD work truck. This type of vehicle is used daily for operations, and over time, the interior naturally accumulates dust, work residue, and grime.

We arrived on location fully equipped and set up our mobile canopy to create a clean, shaded workspace. The canopy plays an important role — it prevents direct sunlight from causing premature drying of chemicals, ensuring all products work as intended and leave no streaks or damage.

Exterior Work

We performed a three-phase exterior wash, starting with a pre-rinse using a gas-powered pressure washer to remove surface dirt and buildup. This was followed by a hand wash using neutral pH shampoo and soft mitts to protect the paint. We then applied a liquid wax coating to help protect the exterior and enhance its appearance.

Interior Detailing

Inside the cabin, we carried out a thorough cleaning of all surfaces:

• Vacuumed the entire interior, including under and behind the seats

• Used a Tornador tool for deep cleaning in tight areas like vents, seams, and corners

• Applied steam on hard surfaces for sanitization and effective cleaning

• Wiped down all surfaces with appropriate cleaners

• Cleaned all windows and mirrors inside and out using a streak-free formula

We also offered a seat shampooing upgrade using our hot water extractor, but in this case, the client preferred not to proceed with this service — which we fully respected.

The service was completed within a few hours and the truck was left clean, refreshed, and ready for use.
